Psychedelic Integration

I’ve been there.

As a psilocybin-assisted therapy retreat leader and therapist at MycoMeditations, one of the world’s leading legal psilocybin retreats, and member of the Portland Integration Network, I bring a wealth of personal experience, in-depth training, and academic study to help people prepare for and integrate transformative psychedelic experiences.

I utilize a harm reduction approach, meaning that I support my clients in minimizing potentially harmful or negative outcomes from psychedelics by providing them with education and psychological support that is within my scope of practice.

Please do not contact me seeking currently illegal substances.

However, people who are are taking psychedelics on their own or in legal contexts often desire professional support in preparing for and integrating these experiences.

Psychedelic integration looks different for every person, but usually consists of unpacking confusing, difficult, and transpersonal experiences in order to discover deeper psychological insights dwelling within. I utilize depth psychology, IFS therapy and somatic modalities to assist your integration and return from altered states of consciousness, so that you can fully apply them to your daily life.

Whether you are new to psychedelics or have been working with them for decades, psychedelic integration support can help you get the most out of these potentially life changing experiences.

I’ve never taken psychedelics, but I’m curious. Is this for me?

I also work with people who are contemplating their first psychedelic experience. You might be wondering what to expect, how to ensure safety, and how to prepare. Anxiety, fear, and curiosity are normal parts of this process.

I can help you:

  • Make an educated decision if psychedelics are for you.

  • Determine if you have any contraindications which should prohibit you from taking psychedelics.

  • Learn what you can usually expect in a psychedelic experience, including how long it will last, the “arc” of the experience, common physical side-effects, and questions around dosage.

  • Understand the differences between each psychedelic substance.

  • Learn about set and setting, the two most important factors contributing to a positive psychedelic experience.

  • Learn how most psychedelics “work” on a psychological and neurological level.

  • Reflect on your intention for taking psychedelics.
